All you need to now about BLACKPINK Rosé recent solo activities

BLACKPINK's Rosé, otherwise known as Roseanne Park MBE, is a 27-year-old New Zealand and South Korean singer, who debuted with her fellow group members in 2016. While the idol made her debut under YG Entertainment, she and her fellow members recently left the agency last year following the termination of their individual exclusive contracts.

Regardless, their contract as BLACKPINK members with YG Entertainment still stands true. On the other hand, Rosé recently signed a management contract with YG Entertainment's subsidary, The Black Label. Most recently, the idol rolled out a single, APT., in collaboration with the American singer-songwriter, Bruno Mars.

The song, APT., refers to the Korean drinking game called Apateu, which translates to 'apartment.' The game involves a group of people to put their palms on top of each other's hands. As they go around, each person has to call out a number and the members put their hands from the bottom to the top in order with the count of the called-out number.

The person with the hands on the top of the pile at the end of the count will have to take a shot. The idol explained this very game to Bruno Mars and others at the studio and immediately thoguht of the idea to make a song about the same. As she discussed it with her team and Bruno Mars, it was agreed upon and soon, the song was released on October 18.

On the other hand, Rosé is also expected to roll out her first independent solo album, Rosie, by the end of this year.
