On Thursday, August 8, ATTRAKT released a YouTube titled HELLO FIFTY FIFTY, revealing the new members of the K-pop girl group, FIFTY FIFTY. Following the departure of the three previous members, Saena, Sio, and Aran, the group was announced to return as a five-piece group instead of its original four-piece lineup.
While the original member, Keena, continued to stay on the lineup, she'll be accompanied by new fellow members Chanelle Moon, Yewon, Hana, and another mystery member who is yet to be revealed. FIFTY FIFTY is expected to make their re-debut with a fresh lineup on September 20, with a second mini-album.

In June 2023, the original FIFTY FIFTY members filed a lawsuit against their agency, ATTRAKT for various reasons. Some of them included the lack of transparency in financial profits, failure of artist protection, lack of concern for the members' health, and more.
As the lawsuit unfolded, one of the members, Keena, stepped out of the fight and chose to keep her contract with ATTRAKT. The other members lost their battle against the agency but their exclusive contract with ATTRAKT was eventually terminated. The three members, Saena, Sio, and Aran, will enter another lawsuit filled with ATTRAKT worth 13.0 billion won (approximately $9.41 million).
The lawsuit also includes the members' parents and it was for the damages the three members for breaching the conditions of their exclusive contracts. The first trial of this lawsuit is expected to roll out on August 29. On the other hand, the new members of FIFTY FIFTY were announced by ATTRAKT on August 8.

She was a previous trainee of Yuehua Entertainment and then joined BE: LIFT in early 2023. While she participated in the R U Next? reality show, she soon had to leave after her elimination in the semi-finals. She's from Hawthorne, Los Angeles, California, USA.
Yewon
Son Ye-won or Yewon is a lead vocalist born on March 18, 2005. She was also part of the R U Next? contestants. She trained for roughly three months before she participated in the show and was eliminated during the sixth episode.
Keena
Song Ja-kyung, otherwise known as Keena, is a main rapper and sub-vocalist born on July 9, 2002. The idol was first introduced through her debut under FIFTY FIFTY. She was revealed to have attended the GB Academy, which is an audition class for K-pop trainees and idols.
Details and information regarding the two other members, Hana, and the mystery member, are yet to be revealed.
