Kim Ji-hoon, the celebrated South Korean actor known for his captivating performance in Flower of Evil, is set to embark on his Hollywood journey with the highly anticipated Amazon Prime spy thriller series titled Butterfly.
This marks Kim Ji-hoon's first foray into a Hollywood project, a significant milestone in his illustrious career. The announcement of his casting was confirmed by his management agency, Big Picture Entertainment, on April 19, 2024, generating excitement among fans worldwide.
Led by actor-producer Daniel Dae Kim, Butterfly transforms the graphic novel penned by Arash Amel and Marguerite Bennett into a character-centered spy thriller, co-crafted by Ken Woodruff and novelist Steph Cha.

His portrayal is anticipated to showcase his versatility and intensity as an actor, following his recent accolade of the Best Artist Award at the 2023 Asia Artist Awards.
In addition to Kim Ji-hoon, the series features renowned actors Kim Tae-hee and Park Hae-soo. Alongside them, several other talents have been enlisted for recurring and guest roles, including Sean Dulake, Charles Parnell, Sung Dong-il, and Lee Il-hwa, known for their roles in the acclaimed K-drama 'Reply 1988'.
