" Hello, we are ablume. Aran, Saena, and Sio will each bring their unique colours to our story, and we're grateful for your support along the way!"

MASSIVE E&C, a label corporation under NSENM (formerly IOK Company) announced on October 15 that it had launched a three-member girl group 'ablume' consisting of the former FIFTY FIFTY members Aran, Saena, and Sio.

According to Single List, a Korean news outlet, the group name 'ablume' is a new word that utilizes the German word 'blume', meaning flower, and expresses growth and the process of blooming.

It represents the three members finding their individual charms and potential, and combining them to produce holistic and diverse music.

The official accounts of 'ablume' have also posted about a flower known as cosmos. The post describes the flower, possibly hinting at the theme of the group's upcoming music.

""Cheerfulness" and "Harmony" – Cosmos, with its delicate petals swaying in the autumn breeze, embodies a sense of purity and peace. It is also well-known as a flower that symbolizes harmony with nature."

The image also contains the word 'October'. This resulted in various speculations by the fans as some believed it to be the group's representative flower, while others speculated it to be the fandom name.

Many fans also believed that the group may introduce a new flower every month or every season. These speculations led the fans of the trio to express their excitement over how the concept and such flowery themes fit perfectly with the singers.

Ever since the departure of the girls from FIFTY FIFTY and the former company ATTRAKT, fans of the original singers of the hit song Cupid have been waiting for their re-debut. Upon the news of their re-debut, many K-pop fans have been showering the trio with supportive messages.

FIFTY FIFTY debuted on November 18, 2022 with their EP The Fifty. The group originally debuted as a four-member group including Saena, Sio, Aran, and Keena. They experienced a commercial breakthrough, domestic and international success, with their viral hit single Cupid.

However, the three former members, Saena, Sio, and Aran alleged that their former company ATTRAKT had breached its contract with them by "failing to provide accounting data" and neglecting the group's mental health, according to the Korea Times.

The company terminated their contracts in October and the former company is now pursuing a $9.7 million damage claim against the three former members.

However, the fourth member, Keena, later dropped her lawsuit and returned to the group with four new girls, including Chanelle, Yewon, Hana, and Athena, forming a new five-member group.
