ATEEZ's San, Culinary Class Wars’ chef Anh Sung-jae, and many more South Korean celebrities won the ELLE STYLE AWARDS 2024 awards. On Thursday, October 17, 2024, the Korean brand of the popular fashion magazine ELLE Korea held the ELLE STYLE AWARDS 2024 at the S Factory Building D in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, South Korea.
The award ceremony was an invite-only event that went live on the magazine’s official YouTube channel at 4:30 pm KST, followed by the red carpet at 5:00 pm KST. Korean singers and musicians like ATEEZ's San, CL, GRAY, Sung Si-kyung, and Chang Kiha were seen gracing the red carpet. Actors like Ahn Bo-hyun, Lee Hye-ri, Lee Soo-hyuk, Go Min-si, Lim Ji-yeon, Ha Jung-woo, Lee Je-hoon, and Honey Lee were posing on the red carpet.

Meanwhile, 3 Star Michelin chef Anh Sung-jae, who gained attention after judging the Netflix cooking show Culinary Class Wars, alongside EENK CEO Lee Hye-mee, architect Cho Min-suk, popular broadcaster Jang Do-yeon, also attended the ceremony.

ELLE STYLE AWARDS 2024 winners’ acceptance speech
ATEEZ member Choi San, mononymously known as San, took over social media with his all-black look, donning a black belted wool coat from Dolce & Gabbana at the ELLE STYLE AWARDS 2024. He was accoladed with the BEST K-POP ICON award and in his speech he expressed his gratitude towards his agency and staff members.
He said,
“Firstly, our kq ceo-nim- when our company didn't have money, and was very small, he is the person who putting his own money sent our members to america for training- he is really a father-like great person.. then our kq staff, hair-makeup artists, our members.”
He further extended his gratitude towards his fans and Grandmother. He said,
“And lastly even our atinys that I love~ I want to thank you all lots.. and to my grandfather who is watching this from afar, before becoming an artist who is not an embarrassment, I'll become a choi san from whom the human smell comes, thank you.”
K-pop soloist and the leader of girl group 2NE1, CL, bagged the ELLE WOMAN OF THE YEAR title in her speech, said:
“Hello I'm CL, nice to meet you all. Thank you to ELLE and Director Jung Younji for inviting me today. Not just this year, I'll also live as a wonderful woman next year. Thank you.”
The model-turned-actor Ahn Bo-hyun, who recently led the K-drama Flex X Cop as the main lead actor, received the ICONIC-STYLE MAN award at the ELLE STYLE AWARDS 2024.
While accepting the award, he said,
“Hi, this is Ahn Bohyun! First of all, tysm for this wonderful award, & I think I got this award because of my stylists, my shop family & my colleagues in the company for 12 years, who have created such characters in the past with very unconventional styling, costume, hair, so tysm for creating such a wonderful costume on such a wonderful occasion today. I'll take it as an encouragement to work harder, & I'm grateful for the award, thank you.”
According to JTBC, the ELLE STYLE AWARDS 2024 returned after 6 years, since it last took place in 2018, recognizing artists and performers who showcased their talents in their fields. Notably, the proceeds of the event will be further donated to child and youth support organizations.
