South Korean singer IU performed two nights of encores for the HEREH World Tour at Seoul World Cup Stadium on September 21 and 22, 2024. The tour started in March 2024 and included shows across the United Kingdom, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore, and more.

On September 22, she held the last encore show before concluding her world tour. Notably, it was also her 100th concert, making her the first-ever Korean female solo artist to achieve this feat. Meanwhile, several K-pop idols attended her encore shows including BTS' Kim Taehyung (V) and j-hope, G-DRAGON, ATEEZ's Jongho, and LE SSERAFIM members.


IU wraps up the HEREH World Tour with two encore shows in Seoul

Lee Ji-eun aka IU began her world tour on March 2, 2024, with her first concert in KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. The tour was following her comeback sixth EP, THE WINNING, which was released on February 20, 2024.

The album includes the pre-release single, Love Wins All, released on January 24, 2024, starring BTS' Kim Taehyung. IU performed the track as the last song at her concert on September 22. Reportedly, South Korean actor, Lee Jong-suk, was spotted at her concert, who had also attended her show on March 2.

Several K-pop idols like Stray Kids' Lee Know, NCT's Doyoung, G-DRAGON from BIGBANG, Taehyung, ATEEZ's Seonghwa, and more, posted pictures and videos from the concert on their respective Instagram accounts. Notably, BTS' Taehyung and j-hope reportedly, took official leave to attend the singer's 100th concert.

THE WINNING was released globally with two lead tracks Holssi and Shopper. Other tracks from the album included Shh.. (featuring Hyein and Wonsun Joe; narration by Patti Kim), I Stan U, and Love wins all. The EP marked her comeback to the musical scene after three years after she released Pieces in 2021.

The official MV of Shopper starred the Australian-Korean artist Christian Yu aka DPR IAN. The editing of the music video was overseen by his team as well. Billboard named the album "The 20 Best K-Pop Albums of 2024 (So Far): Staff Picks" and placed it at No. 2.
