Netflix Korea's Culinary Class Wars recently aired episodes 7 to 10, bringing fans deeper into the intense competition with the highly anticipated 'Restaurant Mission.' The popular food-themed series has captivated audiences worldwide, climbing to the top of the non-English series charts.
In this latest challenge in Culinary Class Wars, contestants faced their toughest task yet—running a restaurant as a team. The remaining 15 chefs, regardless of their previous "Black" or "White" team status, were divided into new groups and given the responsibility of operating their restaurant for 20 prominent 'Mukbang content creators'.
For those unfamiliar, 'mukbang' is a popular genre, particularly in South Korea, where individuals livestream themselves consuming large quantities of food while interacting with their audience.
The guest list featured well-known mukbang creators like Heebab, former White Spoon chef Andre Rush, Enjoy Couple, Soyoung, and more who were each given a budget of one million KRW to spend during a 2.5-hour dining window.
