Gallup Korea released its annual survey, "Best-Performing Actor/Actress of 2024," on December 19. The list included top South Korean stars like Ma Dong-suk, Kim Go-eun, Lee Byung-hun, and Song Kang-ho.

It is to be noted that a total of 1,741 Korean netizens participated in the Gallup Korea survey between the period November 11 and November 25. They were interviewed by the publication.
Kim Go-eun was the only female actress in the Gallup Korea survey
Kim Go-eun secured third place in Gallup Korea's "Best-Performing Actor/Actress of 2024," becoming the only actress chosen by South Korean audiences. She gained widespread acclaim for her role in the hit film Exhuma.
Veteran actor Ma Dong-suk topped the list for the second consecutive year with 26.5% of votes, driven by his performance in The Roundup 4: Punishment.
Subsequently, Hwang Jung-min was placed in the second position with an overall rating of 14.2%. The actor is famous among the audience for his role in projects, including The Point Men, Mission: Cross, Deliver Us From Evil, and others.
Meanwhile, Choi Min-shik and Lee Jung-jae secured the fourth and fifth positions with 11.7% and 10% votes. The other artists who topped the Gallup Korea survey list were Lee Byung-hun, Song Kang-ho, Jung Woo-sung, and others. Lee Byung-hun secured sixth position with 8.3% votes.
Song Kang-ho garnered an overall 7.3% votes in seventh place. Jung Woo-sung ranked in the eighth position with 5.3% votes. Yoo Hae-jin placed in ninth position, with 5% votes. Lastly, Son Suk-goo bagged the tenth position with 3.4% votes.
The latest Gallup Korea list circulated on social media and went viral among the K-drama Community. They cheered for their favorite Kim Go-eun who was the only actress in the survey. An X user tweeted:
