More about Song Hye-kyo’s movie Dark Nuns
The plot of the supernatural thriller centers on a boy named Hee-Joon (Moon Woo-jin) who is taken over by an evil ghost. Those around him try to rescue him. Nun Yunia (Song Hye-kyo) undertakes steps to help the boy as he struggles with intense suffering, and she refuses to give up on him.
Nun Mikaela (Jeon Yeo-bin) becomes interested in Nun Yunia's efforts and chooses to assist her despite the mayhem surrounding them. Priest Paul (Lee Jin-uk), who also serves as a psychiatrist, feels he can heal Hee-Joon through medical intervention.
Priest Andrew (Heo Jun-ho) conducts an exorcism to remove the demon from the boy Hee-Joon.
Directed by Kwon Hyeok-jae, Dark Nuns serves as a continuation of the 2015 film The Priests. The movie delves into the sinister realm of exorcism, presenting an agonizing struggle to reclaim a young child (Moon Woo-jin) who is controlled by an evil demonic force.
Building on the success of The Priests, which reportedly attracted over 5.4 million viewers, Dark Nuns has sparked excitement among admirers of the initial film and fans of the often-underrepresented supernatural subject in Korean cinema.
Additionally, Kang Dong-won, the lead actor from The Priests, is anticipated to make a cameo appearance in the latest movie.
