BTS members RM, j-hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook are all over social media for their reported submissions for the upcoming 2025 Grammy Awards nominations. On October 4, the Grammy Guru on X unveiled an exclusive list of music submissions sent to The Recording Academy for the Grammy nominations.

BTS members RM, j-hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, alongside popular artists like Post Malone, SZA, Camila Cabello, Tyla, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and many more, have sent their solo songs released between September 16, 2023, and August 30, 2024.

Nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards will be disclosed on Friday, November 8, 2024, and the award ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Crypto.com Arena in L.A.

More about BTS members’ solo music releases

RM, the leader of the seven-member K-pop group, dropped his second album, ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’, in May 2024, garnering appreciation from fans and critics alike. Six of his tracks entered the Rap Digital Song Sales chart. RM submitted Right Place, Wrong Person for the Album of the Year and Rap Album categories for the 2025 Grammy Awards.

j-hope dropped his solo documentary titled HOPE ON THE STREET in March 2024, capturing his journey exploring the streets of Osaka, New York, Gwangju, Seoul, and Paris as a street dancer. He dropped an OST album titled HOPE ON STREET VOL. 1 featuring artists like Jungkook, LE SSERAFIM's Yunjin, Gaeko, YOON MIRAE, and many more. He submitted this album for the Album of the Year and Pop Vocal Album nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards.

Meanwhile, Jimin also released his second album MUSE with the title track Who on July 19, 2024. The album consists of seven tracks, out of which five have been co-written and composed by Jimin. MUSE surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, making Jimin the first K-pop solo artist to have two albums achieve this milestone. Jimin submitted MUSE for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for the 2025 Grammy Nominations.

BTS’ V marked his solo debut on September 8, 2023, with the album Layover with the titular tune Slow Dancing. He dropped his solo digital single in all English languages titled FRI(END)S on March 15, 2024. V has submitted his song FRI(END)S for three Grammy nomination categories: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Pop Solo Performance.

The youngest member of the group, Jungkook, released his first solo album GOLDEN in November 2023, featuring artists like Latto, Jack Harlow, Major Lazer, and DJ Snake. He has submitted GOLDEN for nominations in two categories, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.


Meanwhile, BTS' RM, j-hope, V, Jimin, and Jungkook are currently serving in the military. j-hope is expected to be discharged in October 2024, while the other members are expected to be discharged in 2025.
