On October 22, 2024, AboutMusicYt reported that Google experienced an increase in search volume for the keyword APT. following the release of BLACKPINK's Rosé's latest collaborative track APT. with Bruno Mars.

For those unversed, Rosé and American singer Bruno Mars dropped APT. on October 18, 2024, through the Black Label and Atlantic Records.

Following the release of their collaborative track, they created many records. The song charted at the No.1 position in 60 countries on iTunes Worldwide Chart. It remained at the No.1 position on the Global Spotify chart for the second consecutive day with a new peak, recording 14.18 million streams. Additionally, it secured the No.1 position on the US Spotify chart with 1.96 million streams.

As fans came across the reports of increased search volume for the keyword APT. on Google, they took to X to praise BLACKPINK's Rosé's new release. One fan on X tweeted:

"apt is literally the gangnam style of the 2020s."

Fans weaved a plethora of compliments for BLACKPINK's Rosé for introducing K-culture to the world and the meaning of apartment in the Korean language.

"Thought that company ruined K-pop repu. so bad but thanks to artists like ROSÉ, faith in organic artists and good music has been restored. This kinda impact happens rarely, the way people are accepting apt. gives me gangnam style," a fan reacted.
"Introducing part of Korean culture while smashing charts worldwide, a GENIUS," another fan shared.

Additionally, some fans stated that BLACKPINK's Rosé, through APT., succeeded in disseminating cultural phenomena.

The female artist has also become the most followed K-pop act on Spotify for the fourth consecutive day. She broke her own record for the biggest streaming day by a K-pop female soloist in the history of Spotify, recording 15.38 million streams.


BLACKPINK's Rosé is slated to release her debut studio album Rosie on December 6, 2024.
