Episode 10 of BTS' Jin's variety show Run Jin, released on October 15, 2024, on the BANGTANTV YouTube channel. It offered fans a teaser for episode 11 of the weekly program. According to the preview, Kim Seok-jin, aka Jin, will find himself in a horror-house-themed location just in time for Halloween.
The teaser showcased the idol making his way through dimly lit rooms in the haunted house set-up, seemingly all by himself. He held what appeared to be an action camera in one hand and a torch in the other, dressed in Korean traditional clothing.
While on his mission, he has to deal with the actors in the house, dressed in ghoulish costumes, popping out of corners. The episode teaser, which showed the idol visibly terrified, added humorous commentary about his reactions. One title card read,

Another title card comically quoted the Audio Team, crediting the episode for the "best high notes" and "best sounds," referring to the BTS member's screams during spooky scenes. A third title card mentioned that he agreed to this episode for ARMYs (BTS' fans).
The preview also showed Jin petrified to the point of cursing in the episode, with the editors blurring out his mouth. BTS' eldest even cried out to the actors on set,
"Why are you being so scary?"
ARMYs reacted to the preview for episode 11, which comes out next Tuesday, October 22. One fan wrote on X,
"Get ready for an iconic episode!"
Some fans wished BTS' J-Hope were also included in the new episode, while others stated that the preview looked like a trailer for a horror film.

Other fans were pleased that the Seokjin x Horror episode would drop in time for Halloween.

Some moments from Run Jin Episode 10 where BTS' Jin takes on a new mission with his friend Sandeul
This week's Run Jin episode whisked the cast off to the East Sea. The show's star had invited the guest on this day, his long-term friend B1A4's Sandeul. The duo recently featured together on MBC's Half-star Hotel In Lost Island, a seaside-based variety show. They instantly started bickering just as the episode kicked off.
While the clueless duo got on a boat, a fake mission of catching fish was revealed to them. Just as the two were about to cast the fishing rod, a patrol boat drew near with sirens blaring.
The stressed Jin and Sandeul were asked for their IDs and made to get on the new vessel, and it was later revealed that they had been pranked. The scene shifted to them being taken to a much larger vessel with the words 'Korea Coast Guard' written across its side.
After climbing aboard the Coast Guard vessel, Jin and Sandeul changed into the official uniform. An Inspector in the Planning and Operations Division of the Donghae Coast Guard deftly explained the job. They further surprised Jin and Sandeul with the news that it happened to be "drill day" for the team. They soon found themselves witnessing a drowning victim rescue operation.
The duo's task was to carry the victim into the ship for first aid. Jin and Sandeul soon resumed being humorous, asking the training victim if they knew BTS and B1A4 and which BTS song and member they liked best. The role player answered Dynamite and Jin, respectively, to which the latter jokingly added,
"Help him quickly! Help him!!"
They even got trained on how to save a drowning victim's life, where BTS' Jin added,
"You must like Jin the most in BTS, okay?"
They were then taken to a beach where Team Run Jin and six officers of Donghae Regional Headquarters Korea Coast Guard had to compete in five different games to win one million won for team dinner.
Forming two teams, the groups went through fun rounds titled - Basic Coast Guard Training, Upgraded Tuna Game, Teamwork Test, Hopscotch of Luck, and Mega-size tug-of-war. Team Kim Seok-jin won the first two games, and Team Sandeul won the next two. Breaking the tie, Sandeul's group won the final game.
The Coast Guard team gave the two idols plushies as gifts. The crew ended the show with the famous "Run Jin!" cry. However, Jin's team, having lost the tug-of-war game at the end, was tasked with shoveling sand into a massive pit dug out for the game. Before long, an excavator came to their rescue to fill up the rest of it.
In other news, BTS' Jin is set to release his debut solo album, Happy, on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 2 PM KST / 0 AM ET.
