BTS' Jeon Jungkook's upcoming documentary film, I AM STILL, is set to hit limited theaters globally on September 18, 2024. Meanwhile, on August 22, his fans raised concerns about a phrase from the singer's I AM STILL official trailer.

Several fans were concerned with the English trailer's opening line, "From BTS to global solo pop superstar." However, in the Korean trailer, the sentence was entirely different and displayed,

"BTS, Pop Artist of the 21st Century. Jung Kook becomes a global popstar. Gave it his all."

During Jungkook's voiceover, a sentence appeared on the screen, questioning if he could have achieved such fame outside of BTS. This worried many ARMYs, who felt the English text was deliberately trying to separate Jungkook from the group.

They accused HYBE America CEO, Scooter Braun, of allegedly trying to isolate the Still With You singer from his band.

"This man ruined and fcked up so many ppl's careers, a lot of today's biggest artists had their dark and worst period cuz of him, Idk about yall but I won't let that man be near my fav in any possible way, get rid of him NOW," one fan wrote.

Others expressed similar outrage towards Scooter Braun and underscored his "huge role" in the BTS singer's debut solo album, GOLDEN. Fans claimed that Scooter Braun was allegedly trying to "break" the singer from his band and capitalize on his solo artist career.

"This is so true, I've seen this coming ever since he had such a huge role in Golden," one fan wrote.
"That's exactly what I feel ty for articulating it so well like ppl love to get on here and act like bts are the decision makers but it's always the c suite that is. it's always ceos. And they absolutely want to break him away," another fan added.
"He’s done this in the past and definitely will do it again. What do yoy expect from a zionist really ? And he’s got the whole company wrapped around his finger apparently," one other fan stated.

Some ARMYs also mentioned how Scooter Braun allegedly tried to take over Taylor Swift's song rights and their huge feud. A few, however, stated that Jungkook is an adult artist and must have a say in his projects' creative processes.

"You know that at the end of the day Jk has a say in what he wants right. Why don't you people stop acting like he has no mind of his own and is being manipulated. If he wants to go solo he can and no one can do anything about it. Since he hasn't said anything, let it be," one fan wrote.
"Was there this outrage when yoongi was set for a solo tour? Why are y’all crying over a documentary," another fan commented.
"We are talking about the same man that bought t@yl0r’s masters after she stopped working with him if I’m not mistaken, the same one that likes to help put celebrities on certain lists that makes it harder for them in the industry, I don’t trust him at all, he’s known to f with them," one other fan said.
