South Korean girl group LE SSERAFIM is grabbing attention worldwide with their latest achievement. Recently, The Empire State Building's official website announced its September schedule of lighting the tower, which included the honor for the K-pop group.
As per the website, the tower will be illuminated in "fearless blue" on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. This lighting will be done to celebrate the group’s Crazy album release, in partnership with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. The album was officially released on August 30, 2024.
The music group's fans were ecstatic upon hearing the news of their feat. Therefore, they inundated the internet with praise and admiration for the artists. One fan on X commented:

LE SSERAFIM isn’t the first K-pop group to light up The Empire State Building. The New York Art Deco skyscraper has previously honored BTS and TWICE as well.
On January 1, 2019, the Korean boy band BTS collaborated with iHeartMedia to illuminate the Empire State Building with purple tower lights. The lights commemorated the band's iHeartRadio live event at iHeartRadio Theatre.
Later, on March 1, 2023, the girl group TWICE visited the Empire State Building to glow the renowned tower lights in their distinctive hues, apricot and magenta. The event, organized in collaboration with Republic Records and Musicians On Call, commemorated the positive influence of music and marked the launch of TWICE's Ready to Be EP.
