BLACKPINK's Jisoo returned to Korea from her work trip to Paris on June 27, 2024. Jisoo was in Paris for her Dior Couture Autumn-WInter 2024-2025 Show. However, when she returned to Korea, she was instantly hounded at Incheon Airport. Fans were present there and were thrilled to see her when she touched down.

In a live broadcast later, the idol admitted that she wasn't aware of how people got wind of her arrival and flight details. She also stated that her fans began throwing gifts at her, which flew over her head as she tried to make her way to her car, noting how dangerous that was. Apart from fans, who surrounded her, media personnel were also present at the airport, trying to get pictures of her.

Videos and pictures of the 29-year-old idol from the airport went viral on social media, leaving fans and netizens enraged and concerned about Jisoo's safety. They took to social media and voiced their worries about the BLACKPINK singer, with many demanding that the fans give her space.

"give her some space," one fan wrote on X.

While some BLACKPINK fans were upset, others were furious and distressed at the thought of how the singer was mobbed. They pleaded to fellow fans to "respect her privacy" and give her the space she deserved.

"As much as we all want to see our Jisoo up close, we would like to ask everyone waiting for her at the airport and/or other locations to please (PLEASE) respect her privacy and give her the space she deserves," read a post on X.
"Yes, we love Jisoo. But please show some respect. Do you think she enjoys being bombarded and having things thrown at her? Put yourself in her shoes for goodness sakes. Love her, admire her and allow her to feel safe. Get some much needed rest Jisoo," wrote another netizen.
"we’re seeing too much of these incidents endangering the girls. They either need 10 bodyguards to barricade around them when at the airport, or SK needs to implement some legislations changes at their airports," a comment said.
"GIVE HER SPACE?!?!" an X-user expressed.

BLACKPINK's Jisoo went on a live broadcast soon after leaving the airport, as she wasn't able to greet fans there. She told them that had made it back safely and noted that she was going to rest before jumping back into filming. The idol then asked her fans to take care as well.

Reacting to her heartfelt gesture, a fan said,

"Jisoo's genuine love for her fans is unmatched! It's always her "fans first" despite the chaos she's been through. I hope everyone can see this and show her more respect in the future."
