Gong Hyo-jin reveals Lee Min-ho gifted her dollars during the When The Stars Gossip promotions 

On December 24, 2024, South Korean actress Gong Hyo-jin revealed that her When The Stars Gossip co-star Lee Min-ho gifted her dollars during the duo's appearance on Salon Drip 2. They were featured in the 71st episode of the entertainment program where Jang Do-yeon took the role of the host. They attended the variety show to promote their forthcoming sci-fi and romance drama.

During the episode, when Jang Do-yeon brought up the topic of Gong Hyo-jin's marriage, the latter revealed what Lee Min-ho had gifted her.

"He exchanged the congratulatory money into dollars so I could use it in the US," she mentioned.

"While shooting the drama I was going to take longer than I expected. I was just about to get married so I was thinking about pushing it back but my family told me that I shouldn't push back a wedding so I just flew out just for the wedding ceremony. I was there for only 10 days.
