The cast of the upcoming K-drama Good Boy, featuring well-known actor Park Bo-gum alongside Kim So-hyun, Heo Sung-tae, Lee Sang-yi, and Tae Won-seok, came together on August 2 to extend their wishes to the South Korean team competing in the Olympics currently being held in Paris.
In the brief clip shared by JTBC, the first glimpse of the ensemble has been revealed. The caption of the post reads:
"Team Korea, Korean national team players The actors of Good Boy are cheering for you 👏🏻 Fighting Korean athletes"
The K-drama is directed by renowned filmmaker Shim Na-yeon, who is well-known for directing well-liked K-dramas, such as Beyond Evil and The Good Bad Mother. The series is written by the screenwriter Lee Dae-II. JTBC will premiere the forthcoming Korean series in the second half of 2024.

Good Boy centers on world medalists who decide to enlist in the Olympic police program. They decide to change careers, and now they have to deal with a lot of dishonest and crooked people. The Olympic Avengers are a specialist team that focuses on violent crimes and injustices and uses their athletic prowess to take on the worst cases.
With the actors playing the parts of former Olympic athletes, their support for the South Korean athletes in the Paris Olympics has impressed fans. Fans have also gotten a glimpse of the actors in their new roles as sportspersons in the series, where they are seen donning the uniform of the Korean national team.
Good Boy: Cast and characters
In Good Boy, Park Bo-gum is expected to portray Yoon Dong-ju, the male protagonist. Yoon, a boxing gold medalist, faces challenges and decides to become a police officer. Park Bo-gum is well-known for his performances in Reply 1988, Hello Monster, Love in the Moonlight, Encounter, and Record of Youth.
Kim So-hyun will play Ji Han-na, the female lead, in the interim. She also won a gold medal in shooting at the Olympics. After an unforeseen incident, the character also decides to change careers and join the police force.
In 2012, Kim So-hyun landed her first major role in the teen drama Ma Boy. Since then, she has starred in numerous TV shows, such as Who Are You: School 2015, Radio Romance, Hey Ghost, Let's Fight, The Emperor: Owner of the Mask, Love Alarm, and River Where the Moon Rises.
In the series, Lee Sang-yi will play Kim Jong-hyeon, Oh Jung-se will play Min Joo-young, Tae Won-seok will take on the role of Shin Jae-hong, and Heo Sung-tae will play Ko Man-sik.
