On November 4, 2024, BTS' youngest member Jeon Jungkook made history as he became the first and only K-pop solo act to have three songs cross 1 billion streams on Spotify. Furthermore, he is the only Korean act to have a song cross 2 billion streams on Spotify.

Currently, his single, SEVEN (feat. Latto), has amassed over 2.02 billion streams with an average daily stream of 1.98 million. His second single, Standing Next To You, has surpassed 998 million streams with a daily average stream of 2.83 million, taking the combined streams to over 1 billion.

Both SEVEN (feat. Latto) and Standing Next To You are from his debut solo album, GOLDEN, which was released on November 3, 2023. Meanwhile, Left and Right by Charlie Puth, in which Jungkook was a featured artist, amassed over 1.02 billion streams on Spotify. It became the BTS idol's third track to cross the 1 billion stream milestone.

Fans rejoiced as the BTS maknae made history as the first and only K-pop solo act to achieve this feat within a year of his debut solo album release. One fan hailed him as the "greatest K-pop soloist" and wrote on X:

"Greatest K-pop soloist to live."

The BTS fanbase hailed him as the "Main Pop Boy" and praised him for creating "good music."

"No wonder PPL already started calling him 'Main Pop Boy' since long time ago before his debut," one fan wrote.
"Hands down, its a well deserved achievement. I mean bro makes absolutely GOOD music so congrats," another fan wrote.
"2 songs are from his DEBUT solo album btw. There's literally no other soloist doing it like him," another fan added.

Others called him the "Father of K-pop," "Record Breaker," and more to highlight his impact on the global music industry.

"Biggest k soloist. Father of Kpop. Main pop boy. Record breaker. No one is doing it like him," one fan commented.
"This is what happens when you’re the biggest k soloist, more billions coming," another fan stated.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the most successful global pop star here," one other fan wrote.

BTS' Jungkook became the only K-pop solo act to have multiple songs top the Billboard Global 200

SEVEN (feat. Latto) was released on July 14, 2024, marking the debut solo single by BTS' Jungkook. The song surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify within 106 days of its release, eclipsing Flowers by Miley Cyrus. SEVEN also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making him the second K-pop soloist to top the chart after BTS' Jimin.

However, Jungkook became the first and only K-pop soloist to top the Billboard Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks. The track was later included in GOLDEN, which was released globally on November 3, 2023.

Standing Next To You topped the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) charts. Additionally, his tracks 3D (feat. Jack Harlow) and SEVEN (feat. Latto) also topped both the charts before Standing Next To You, making Jungkook the only K-pop act to have three songs from the same album to debut at No. 1 on multiple Billboard charts.

In other news, BTS' Jungkook has been serving in the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) since December 12, 2023. He will return in June 2025 after fulfilling his mandatory service of 18 months.
