On October 19, 2024, BLACKPINK's Rosé earned the biggest streaming debut for a female K-pop soloist in the history of Spotify with the track APT., recording over 6.86 million streams. The female artist's collaborative track APT. with Bruno Mars debuted at No.3 on the Spotify Global Chart, leaving the fandom proud.

The record also debuted at No.11 on the United States Spotify chart with 1.17 million streams and emerged as the only female K-pop soloist to do so. Additionally, BLACKPINK's Rosé also gained over 2,082,492 new monthly listeners on the streaming platform Spotify following the release of the single APT.

For those unversed, BLACKPINK's Rosé released her collaborative track APT. with the American singer and songwriter Bruno Mars on October 18 through The Black Label. The female artist also shared a music video through her official YouTube channel.

Subsequently, the latest Spotify milestones of BLACKPINK's Rosé circulated on social media and went viral. The fandom expressed their pride in the female artist.

The New Zealand and South Korean singer debuted with BLACKPINK in August 2016. In commemoration of her 27th birthday on February 11, 2024, the female artist unveiled new solo music and a snippet of a track called Vampirehollie. Subsequently, she unveiled the track Final Love Song as the theme song for the survival reality program I-Land 2: N/a.

In June, BLACKPINK's Rosé signed a management contract with YG Entertainment's associated company, The Black Label. Subsequently, it was revealed on September 26, 2024, that she signed a solo deal with the American record label Atlantic Records.

She also recorded a song, Viva la Vida, for the trailer of Apple TV's series Pachinko season 2. Viva la Vida is a rendition of Coldplay's 2008 track of the same name.


On October 1, BLACKPINK's Rosé revealed through her official Instagram account that she would release her debut studio album Rosie on December 6, 2024, through The Black Label and Atlantic Records. It would feature 12 tracks, including APT. (featuring Bruno Mars).
