MBC drama Doubt, starring Han Seok-kyu and Chae Won-bin, released its first trailer on July 26. The father-daughter thriller drama, which also includes Han Ye-ri and Oh Yeon-soo, will premiere in the second half of 2024. Episodes of the drama will air every Friday-Saturday on MBC.
PD Song Yeon-hwa, who helmed the MBC drama Hunted, is directing Doubt. The thriller is written by Han Ah-young, who emerged victorious in the 2021 MBC Drama Script Contest with unanimous approval from the judges. The drama, also known as Such A Close Traitor, will be produced by Ascendio and Woodside.

Han Ye-ri portrays Inspector Lee Eo-jin of the Criminal Behavior Analysis Team, with Han Suk-kyu's character Jang Tae-soo serving as the team's commander. Lee Eo-jin is an international student from England who always puts cases over persons and facts over feelings.
Jang Ha-bin, portrayed by Chae Won-bin, is Jang Tae-soo's only daughter in high school. Despite her unassuming appearance, she takes after her father and possesses a remarkable capacity for understanding and perceiving human behavior. Oh Yeon-soo will take up the role of Jang Tae-soo's ex-wife.

Han Seok-kyu is known for starring in films and shows like Christmas in August, Shiri, The Scarlet Letter, The President's Last Bang, and Dr. Romantic. For his role as Master Kim in the popular medical drama Dr. Romantic, Han Seok-kyu was awarded the Grand Prize Daesang Award in 2016 for the second time. He received his first for his role in Deep-rooted Tree in 2011.
Han Ye-ri has demonstrated her distinct acting technique across a range of genres. She has won praise for her steady performance and multifaceted appeal in dramas like Six Flying Dragons, Age of Youth, and Nokdu Flower, as well as in films like Korea, Worst Day, and Champion. She received special recognition for her acting abilities when Minari, a film that toured worldwide film festivals, won the 2021 Gold List Best Actress Award.
Chae Won-bin is a talented actress who gained recognition from the films The Witch 2 and Sweet Home 2 on Netflix. She beat off strong competition in many audition rounds to get the role in Doubt.
Oh Yeon-soo is famous for her portrayal of a single mother in A Second Proposal who finds love again, a disgruntled housewife in The Queen Returns, and significant supporting roles in the historical plays Jumong and Gyebaek. However, Oh's most memorable roles were as married ladies contemplating infidelity in the melodramas Bad Guy and Bitter Sweet Life. She was last seen in the 2022 tvN drama Military Prosecutor Doberman.
