On July 17, 2024, Stray Kids' Felix took to the South Korean social media platform Bubble, where he expressed his desire to debut as a girl group member in 2025, after growing his hair like Rapunzel. While conversing with fans on the platform, the male artist wondered how much should be the length of his hair and eventually decided to color it blonde.

He stated, as translated by X user @hyunehans:

"My hair keeps growing. Until where should I let it grow ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 2024 Rapunzel Coming soon. Let's get it. Let's go with blonde hair. If I go 2024 Rapunzel, then I'll debut as a female idol in 2025 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Yeah, no, I'll have to cut it at some point."

Soon, the idol's desire to debut as a girl group member went viral on social media, and fans reacted hilariously. Subsequently, an X user tweeted that he would outshine all the other female idols and stated:

"He’d outshine them all."

Netizens expressed their joy about Stray Kids' Felix's desire to debut as a member of a girl group. They assumed the male artist must have seen edits where fans photoshopped him with other girl bands, including aespa, ITZY, and others. Some fans even referred to him as the tenth member of TWICE.

"Lix again beautifully told everyone that he sees what people write and create about him After what he showed at festivals, you can't believe that Felix would want to become a member of a girl band He provokes, rebels and is cooler and hotter than before."- A fan reacted.
"Tenth member of Twice let’s goo!!!"- A fan shared.
"lmao has he seen all those edits of him with aespa, gidle and itzy members."- A fan mentioned.
"Ogs know this has been this man's goal since debut actually XD."- A fan commented.

STAYs (Stray Kids fandom) praised him stating that he would be easily the most beautiful female K-pop idol if debuted with a girl band. Some fans sarcastically joked that the idol was born to join a girl group but ended up in a boy group.

"Born to be in a gg forced to be in a bg."- A user reacted.
"And he will easily be the most beautiful one."- A user shared.
"Stray Kids everywhere all around the world? These kids are too extra they're now targeting joining gg."- A user mentioned.
"I kind of want to see Felix grow his hair out till it reaches his chest or something lol."- A user commented.
