On Saturday, June 29, a dancer from BTS Jimin's latest single music video, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, went live on TikTok. During the live session, one viewer asked O.K.SUN about his experience working with the K-pop idol on his recent pre-release single. O.K. SUN, who was one of the backup dancers for the music video, shared his thoughts.

O.K. SUN described the idol as very kind and cute but noted that their interactions were minimal due to the professional nature of the shoot. He expressed that he was trying to concentrate on performing tasks as a dancer and artist. Here's what he said about Jimin and his experience working with him:

"Jimin... He is so kind and, yeah, so kind and cute. Nothing, I was just working. (It was) business. (I am a) dancer and artist. (The environment was) very business. Many dancers (were) together, it was very fun."

The dancer has also participated in other K-pop idols' tracks, such as BTS SUGA's Haegeum, BTS' j-hope's Chicken Noodle Soup, etc.

BTS' Jimin releases pre-release single Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (ft. Loco) ahead of his upcoming album, MUSE

On Friday, June 28, Jimin, the vocalist and main dancer of BTS, released his pre-release single, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, featuring the South Korean rapper, Loco. The idol rolled out the single ahead of the release of his upcoming second album, MUSE, which is scheduled for release on July 19.

Following the release of the song and its music video, fans were ecstatic. Initially, they were intrigued by the difference in genre compared to the idol's previous album release, FACE. However, they were both proud and happy to see the idol brand out and explore different music genres.

Fans immediately embraced the song, which not only had an enthusiastic and uplifting tone but also paid tribute to the bond between BTS and ARMYs. One of the lyrics references June 12, a significant date marking both the debut showcase of BTS and the first meeting between the group and ARMYs.

Moreover, the song also had several other attractive qualities. Through a statement released by BigHit Music, it was revealed that the song was mildly inspired by The Beatles' album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. On the other hand, it also carried a touching meaning behind it.

BigHit explained:

"Referencing the fictional flower, Smeraldo, which symbolizes the truth untold, the lyrics tenderly express the longing to confess and find love on behalf of those unable to articulate their feelings. This theme connects to the legend of Smeraldo referenced in "The Truth Unfold (feat. Steve Aoki)" from BTS' Love Yourself Tear album."

The agency also talked about the blend of the two artists on the song, Jimin and Loco, and how they complimented each other. With the pre-release heightening the expectations of ARMYs, they can hardly wait to see what the idol has in store for them with the release of his upcoming second album, MUSE.
