“He looks like a lost puppy” — Fans hilariously react as Byeon Woo-seok’s confused 2024 MAMA stage exit moment goes viral online

On November 22, 2024, Lovely Runner actor, Byeon Woo-seok, went viral online for hilariously missing his stage exit cue after presenting an award at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA). The award ceremony was hosted from November 21 to 23, 2024, where he bagged the Favorite Global Trending Music award on the last day of the event.

After presenting the Visa Fans' Choice of the Year award to BTS' Jimin on November 22, he missed the cue to leave the stage. Several other K-pop artists and groups like TXT and IVE among others went on the main stage to greet their fans in the audience. The South Korean actor began to move around to an empty area on stage seemingly looking for an exit.

After more than two minutes, a staff member went up onto the stage and assisted Byeon Woo-seok in getting down from the stage. Fans found the actor's confused moment both amusing and endearing. One fan wrote on X:

"He looks like a lost puppy"

Fans mentioned how Byeon Woo-seok couldn't blend in among the K-pop idols due to his tall stature and seemed lost on stage.

"He can’t even blend in because he’s so tall," one fan wrote.

"The way he moved to a different amply spot each time. My poor baby," another fan wrote.

"My man was lost," another fan added.

Others joked about how Byeon Woo-seok hilariously tried to cover his mouth to mask his laughter as he couldn't find a way to get down from the stage.

"At the ending the other idols went to the main stage and greeted the fans meanwhile there is byeon wooseok who was alone and didn't know what to do until one of the staff came to escort him," one fan commented.

"Woo Seokie is so precious gigant baby," another fan said.

Byeon Woo-seok won the Favorite Trending Music Award for his song, Sudden Shower, from the K-drama, Lovely Runner, in which he played the character of a K-pop idol from the band, ECLIPSE.
