BTS' Jin becomes first person to appear on covers of GQ Japan and Vogue Japan in the same month

Previously, on September 26, 2024, Jin made waves in the fashion industry when two iconic magazines, GQ Japan and Vogue Japan, revealed that he would be gracing the covers of both their December 2024 issues. This achievement makes the idol the first individual ever to appear on the covers of both publications within the same month.

In his interview with Vogue Japan, Jin discussed his solo journey, values, and artistic motivations. He noted that while being a solo artist gives him more freedom, it also makes him nervous. In contrast, working with BTS offers comfort and relaxation, as they can depend on each other.

When asked about what happiness and treasure mean to him, he revealed that the happiness of his fans, ARMY, is his top priority. He emphasized that ARMY brings him joy, and his greatest wish is to make them even happier. He stated,

“The thing I put most importance on in life is happiness. The people who make me happy are my fans, the ARMY. If I can make ARMY happy, they’ll make me happy. I need to keep going for them (laughs).”

Now back from his military service, Jin is focusing on his solo career and aiming to make ARMY proud. This new chapter in his career is reflected in his upcoming solo album, Happy, which is set to release on November 15, 2024, with the pre-release track I'll Be There dropping on October 25.

Jin's upcoming features on the covers of both publications for their December issues mark a unique milestone, as it's the first time a cover star has appeared in two major magazines from Conde Nast Japan in a linked project.

The release further heightened anticipation among Jin's fans who are eagerly awaiting both the magazine releases and his solo music debut.
