On July 20, 2024, Stray Kids' Hyunjin marked one year as a Global Brand Ambassador for Versace. The brand has dressed him for various events, including his recent I-DAYS Milano 2024 performance. To celebrate his anniversary, Versace also curated gifts for STAYs (Stray Kids fans).
In Ep.65 of [Stray Kids: SKZ-TALKER] that rolled out on July 24, KST, the JYPE octet was captured behind the scenes during KBS' Music Bank stage for their comeback performance with Chk Chk Boom. The video took fans to the release press conference for their new mini-album ATE, even giving them sneak peeks behind their MBC Show! Music Core performance.
At the end of the video, Hyunjin opened a gift hamper from Versace to celebrate his one-year ambassadorship. He revealed a stem-wrapped rose and a specially curated perfume for STAYs, which made him laugh in amazement.
Hyunjin sprayed a bit of it while saying,
"It's my first anniversary with Versace. So, Versace prepared a special perfume gift for fans. Ah, but I think STAY will really like it. Hey, but this smells good, doesn't it? It smells a bit like flowers. It smells cool. I hope STAY likes it."
Reacting to the news, fans dashed to X praising the thoughtful nature of Versace towards the 24-year-old. One fan wrote,
"He is so loved by versace"
Similarly, other comments sprang up talking about the perfume and Versace's Global Brand Ambassador Hyunjin.
"VERSACE AND MOTHER DONATELLA WE LOVE YOUUUU," read a post on X.
"Wahhh Versace perfume for his fans for his first anniversary??? He's so so loved by that brand/company I love that so much for him. He so deserved the love and care he's been receiving from Versace. I hope it will continue for a long long time," commented another STAY.

Hyunjin's excitement in presenting the gift for STAYs was also noticed,
"Hyunjin and versace is the best thing that happened, he was so happy to gift stays Versace perfumes for his ba anniversary," a netizen posted.
"Specifically prepared by versace, anything for their prince," another comment said.
These gifts also included cool patches and roses.
Meanwhile, other exclusive footage of Hyunjin from SKZ-TALKER's latest episode showed him teaching the Chk Chk Boom choreography to ENHYPEN's Niki. The duo then filmed their collaboration video for the popular challenge for the song.
Stray Kids are creating a splash with their new EP ATE and latest single SLASH for Deadpool & Wolverine
Stray Kids released their ninth EP ATE on July 19 this year. The album boasts eight songs in total - Mountain, Chk Chk Boom, JJAM, I Like It, Runners, Twilight, Stray Kids, and the festival version of Chk Chk Boom. Since its release, the mini-album has caused quite a wave, even becoming the biggest first week album debut on Spotify by a K-pop group in 2024.
The EP is also aiming for a #1 debut on the Billboard 200 with over 215K units sold in its first week, which would be the group's fifth #1 album. The title track, Chk Chk Boom, is trending with various challenges on different platforms, and the idols are collaborating with K-pop stars like ENHYPEN's Niki and Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon.
The song has recently been dubbed the biggest first-week Spotify song debut made by a 4th generation boy group (16.3M), soaring past their own LALALALA. The music video for the song, featuring Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in cameo appearances, has also amassed over 49 million YouTube views. It is now their fastest MV to surpass this milestone.
The collaboration with the actors of Deadpool & Wolverine was also extended when the S-Class group launched a special song SLASH on July 23, for the MCU film's OST. The song also contains lyrics in Korean and is penned and produced by Stray Kids' sub-unit 3RACHA (made up of Bang Chan, Han, and Changbin) and famous producer VERSACHOI.
In other news, fans can look forward to Stray Kids headlining at Lollapalooza Chicago (August 1 to 4, 2024).
Furthermore, the members will be hitting the road for their dominATE world tour, starting from August 24 to 25 in Seoul's KSPO Dome. The trek will take them across 12 stops, including Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, Manila, Osaka, Bangkok, and more. The LatAm, North America, and Europe dates for the tour are yet to be announced.
