The director recounted how the production company received a request to contribute three percent of the movie's profits to the SNU Cancer Hospital in Seoul, South Korea.
The request was reportedly made on April 20, but the sum was massive. The director further revealed that BTS' Kim Taehyung had asked his close friend to donate to the SNU hospital, as he had consistently contributed to cancer hospitals in the past.
Subsequently, the snippet from the interview circulated on social media and went viral among fans, who expressed their pride in the artist. One X user tweeted:
