On October 15, 2024, HYBE's stock surged by 4.66% and closed at 1,84,500 KRW or $135.19 per share due to BTS' Jin's album release announcement. After witnessing a slump the previous week, the company closed at an average upward value of 4.66% in a single day and an average of 7.14% in the past five days.

According to BIGHIT MUSIC (now HYBE Labels), the BTS idol's debut solo album, Happy, is scheduled to be released globally on November 15, 2024. The announcement came on Tuesday, October 15, at 12 am KST.

Fans noted that despite HYBE being summoned to the National Assembly audit to discuss workplace bullying on October 15, the company performed exceptionally well in the stock market. Notably, NewJeans' Hanni appeared for voluntary testimony for allegedly facing mistreatment at HYBE. Fans highlighted how the BTS idol's album release schedule saved the day.

One fan hailed him as a powerhouse and wrote,

"Jin is just beyond charting, sales, and engagements in socials. His products r major economic mover, with tails and wings sweeping beyond the album itself. Hes a powerhouse."

The BTS ARMY highlighted how HYBE "benefits greatly" whenever the Epiphany singer-songwriter announces a release or an endorsement.

"Whenever Seokjin announces something, Hybe benefits greatly. It would be perfect for that company to know how to thank you, but not everything is perfect in this life. Anyway, we have Seokjin and that's much more important for us and for the world of good musical taste," one fan wrote.
"This is BTS!! NO ONE CAN REPLACE THEM," another fan added.
"Man the day BTS comes back, the whole SK media, SK music industry and kpoppies are going lose all their ever loving minds. I am so ready for it!" one other fan said.

Others underscored how even the National Assembly audit fiasco couldn't shake HYBE's stock market's upward trend due to the BTS idol's announcement. Some fans mentioned that the stock market valuation will skyrocket on "June 21, 2025," when BTS' Namjoon, V, Jimin, Jungkook, and Suga will return from their enlistment and resume group activities.

"The album announcement was after the stock closed but today the price has remained stable even after the National Assembly circus, that's where the Jin effect can be seen," one fan highlighted.
"I enjoy imagining the screams of anger of a certain person watching this," another fan wrote.
"Imagine the numbers on 21 June 2025," another fan added.

BTS' Jin is set to release his debut solo album Happy

Happy will be dropped on November 15, 2024, and will be released in 3 versions: Journey, Imagine, and Navigate. This will be the singer's first solo album. Jin released his debut solo single, The Astronaut, two years ago on October 28, 2022. The track was co-written by him and Coldplay's frontman, Chris Martin.

The BTS sensation also performed the song live on the day of its global release at Coldplay's Argentina concert on October 28, 2022. Jin took his fans by surprise with his last live performance at the concert as he sang The Astronaut with tears in his eyes before his military enlistment on December 13, 2022. He returned on June 12, 2024, after serving a mandatory period of 18 months.

He also released his own reality show, RUN JIN, after his military discharge. He also seen as a special guest alongside B1A4's Sandeul in episodes 15 and 16 of the popular Korean show Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island, which included celebrity chef Lee Yeon-bok, Ahn Jung-hwan, Boom, and Kim Dae-ho. The show was aired on MBC's website and YouTube channel.

In other news, the BTS idol was chosen as one of the torchbearers for the 2024 Paris Olympics Torch Relay. On July 15, 2024, he carried the Olympic Flame and walked across the Louvre Pyramid in Paris, guarded by 30 French National Police officers.
