On November 9, 2024, AboutMusicYT reported that BTS' Jungkook was the most mentioned K-pop soloist on X following the revelation of Grammy nominations the previous day. The Gramophone Awards revealed the nomination list for the forthcoming 67th Annual Grammy Awards.

However, the Golden Maknae received zero nominations even though his debut studio album GOLDEN achieved three consecutive global #1 hits. The album was also the fastest-selling K-soloist album in the United States.

As a result, the male artist's fandom expressed their dejection and disappointment about him not receiving any nominations. They claimed that the Grammy Awards only supported Western artists and had no consideration for Korean music. They shared multiple snippets praising Jungkook's milestones and disregarding the evaluation process of the award show.

However, as Jungkook emerged as the most-mentioned K-pop soloist on X following the Grammy nominations, the fandom expressed pride in the artist. An X user tweeted:

"He's always the main character."

The fandom stated that following the revelation of the Grammy nomination list, the antis were talking more about Jungkook than anyone else. They also discussed the power and impact the male artist had internationally and domestically.

"even his antis were talking more about him than their faves getting or not a nomination,"- a fan reacted.
"Look that's what make him the most successful popular artist u can see many nuga untalented stan try to drag him but this won't change that all of their favs dream to have like JK powerful name and impact and u can see all of them follow his steps,"- a fan shared.
"and he's gonna be the most mentioned in Grammy's day too that too while being in the military,"- a fan commented.
"The Grammys show racial bias and favoritism, ignoring artists with big achievements like #GOLDEN_jungkook who had three hits and broke records but didn’t get recognition. It feels like they pick winners based on personal preference, especially if the artist isn’t Western,"- a fan mentioned.

Many fans also accused the Grammy Awards of being racist and claimed that it has continued to disappoint the music industry. They stated that the award show had not developed when it came to a new genre of music.

"No wonder flopmates were crying and trying to drag him for not being nominated since he’s the only relevant k-act and the only one with actual real impact,"- a user reacted.
"Grammy ignored the great artist Jungkook because they are racist against Asians I can't believe we've reached 2025 and Grammy still hasn't developed, This is disappointing,"- a user shared.
"Jungkook breaks the internet! The most mentioned K-pop soloist on X following the GRAMMYs nominations proving his global impact and dedicated fanbase,"- a user commented.
"That’s what happens when you are a pop prince in this industry a very normal day to see him shining on trends day by day, for multiple reasons,"-a user mentioned.
