"He’s coming home buff"— Fans react to BTS' Kim Taehyung's physical change in recent photos from military

BTS’ V, aka Kim Taehyung, is all over social media with his recent photos from the military. On November 27, V dropped an update on the fan community app Weverse where he shared three photos with a message for the BTS fans.

In the first two photos, V was seen posing outside a Compose Coffee outlet, where a poster with his face was on the display. He wore his military uniform in the photos. Notably, the BTS member was announced as the ambassador of the South Korean coffee chain Compose Coffee. He also shared a photo of the first snow in the country.

In his message, he said,

“Are you doing well? Did you see how it snowed? Winter is starting now. have fun amongst yourselves ARMYs, next year, let's have lots of fun with bangtan too okay? okay? okay?”

Fans were surprised to see a seemingly physical change in Kim Taehyung, drawing a comparison between the poster and him. They went on social media platforms like X to showcase their thoughts about this.

BTS’ Kim Taehyung’s military service & upcoming music releases

BTS’ Kim Taehyung began his military service on December 11, 2023. He enlisted along with the group’s leader, RM, and following his basic training, he underwent three weeks of additional training to join the SDT (Special Duty Team). At present, the Slow Dancing singer is serving in the special military police unit.

In other news, he is set to make his solo comeback with the single Winter Ahead with Park Hyo-shin on November 29, 2024. Winter Ahead will have a music video directed by director Lee Han-gyeol. Notably, the song and music video are recorded before the singer's military enlistment. His collaboration track, White Christmas, with Bing Crosby is also set to be out on December 6, 2024.

BTS' Kim Taehyung is expected to have completed his military conscription in 2025.
