On October 8, BTS’ j-hope shared a post for Chef Edward Lee from Culinary Class Wars via the Korean social media platform Weverse. The BTS singer started his Weverse post with a spoiler alert, followed by Chef Edward Lee’s image and his Korean name, Lee Kyun, underneath. j-hope further highlighted the chef’s tofu creations. His post came out on the day of the Culinary Class Wars finale.

BTS’ j-hope’s fans and other viewers of Culinary Class Wars expressed enthusiasm regarding the singer's acknowledgment of the show's finalist, Chef Edward Lee. Subsequently, admirers inundated the internet with compliments for the singer and the culinary expert. One user on X called Hobi 'cute' for sharing a post in the chef’s support.

Many other responses from X users were recorded online. While one called the BTS member considerate for mentioning a spoiler warning in his post, others said that they began watching the Netflix cooking reality series because of j-hope’s previous post about the same.

Hobi appeared to have watched the first season of Netflix’s Korean reality show Culinary Class Wars, as indicated by his recent Instagram post. On October 2, j-hope shared a few pictures on his official Instagram page. One of them was a picture of the culinary show's Cooking Maniac.

The picture made it quite evident that the K-pop star had been watching the Netflix survival cooking show. j-hope also put Cooking Maniac's picture on his Instagram story.


The first season of Culinary Class Wars concluded on October 8 with the release of its last two episodes. Interested audiences can stream all twelve episodes of the show on Netflix.
