On December 3, BTS' Jungkook’s eagerly awaited documentary series I AM STILL came out on Disney+. This three-episode mini-series was uploaded on the OTT platform following the global release of his titular documentary on September 18, 2024. As stated by BIGHIT Music’s social media post, the latest series has an extra 55 minutes of unseen footage.

BTS’ Jungkook’s miniseries centers around the making process of his inaugural solo album, GOLDEN. His album was originally dropped on November 3, 2024.

In one sequence of this documentary, BIGHIT Music's choreographer Son Sungdeuk praised BTS' Jungkook and shed light on his hardworking spirit. He shared some details about how the idol prepared for his concerts. Sangdeuk revealed that Jungkook stayed till the end of rehearsals and took extra practice sessions for stage performances.

“For every concert, Jung Kook was always the last to leave rehearsals, practicing his solo performances. He'd practice his vocals even more for group songs. When we were done and preparing to go home, we'd ask the members if any of them wanted to practice. something more before calling it a day. Without fail, Jung Kook would have his hand up."

Sangdeuk further used terms like “perfectionist” and “genius” to describe BTS' Jungkook.

“That shows how much of a perfectionist he is. He's the scariest person in the world because he's a genius that puts in the work. That's who Jung Kook is.”

BIGHIT Music’s music producer Pdogg also labeled BTS' Jungkook as a ‘genius’

In Jeon Jungkook’s docuseries, some of his colleagues talked about him, one of them being BIGHIT’s producer Pdogg. He admired the 3D singer’s ability to quickly understand and nicely capture the emotions of the song. Pdogg complimented him by saying that he was a ‘genius’ with a powerful voice.

“Fundamentally I believe that he's a GENIUS because this all started with his voice. The power of his voice. That's how we got started so I believe he is a GENIUS and he's so quick when it comes to catching the essence of a song, he's so good at pulling it off in his own style.”

Aside from Pdogg and Son Sungdeuk, BTS' Jungkook received praise from one of his collaborators, Usher. The American singer-songwriter lauded him and spoke about his experiences working on their joint track Standing Next To You. He noted Jungkook’s dedication to his choreography.

This new docuseries features several personal experiences of the K-pop idol recorded during the production of his first album. The series also featured several childhood pictures of Jungkook. A collage of these childhood images was shown, highlighting the star's most adorable moments

Currently, Jeon Jungkook is enlisted in military training. He is projected to be discharged in June 2025 following his enlistment in December 2023. Earlier this year, Jungkook also appeared in a travel vlog series with his bandmate Jimin, titled Are You Sure!, which was released on Disney+.
