“He’s so grandpa coded” — Fans swoon as BTS’ Jungkook and Suga share a playful “Twin” moment in matching tees

On June 7, 2024, BTS' Min Yoongi aka Suga's <Agust D - TOUR 'D-DAY' The Original> VOD was released on Weverse. BIGHIT MUSIC (now HYBE Labels) announced on the Weverse platform that the video could be watched using a digital code.

The video contains moments from Suga's D-DAY world tour in 2023 including behind-the-scenes such as practice sessions with Namjoon, Jimin, and Jungkook. Meanwhile, one of the snippets from the VOD that went viral online was of Jungkook and Agust D's coincidental "Twin" moment.

In one of the scenes, Jungkook is seen waiting at the studio for the Daechwita rapper to arrive. As Yoongi aka Suga arrives, Jungkook scolds him for being late but immediately cheers up seeing Yoongi wearing the same shirt. Jungkook reacts by saying:

"Oh we have a couple tee."

This moment made fans emotional as the BTS members are currently serving in the South Korean military. While Namjoon, J-Hope, and Taehyung still get in touch with their fans by dropping selfies on Instagram stories amidst their ongoing enlistment, both Suga and Jungkook have been completely silent since they enrolled.

Fans took social media by storm to express their happiness after watching the new video. K-netizens shared how much they missed the duo's playfulness, as a fan wrote:

Some fans highlighted Yoongi's bond with Jungkook and noted that the latter will forever be his younger brother.

BTS Suga's <Agust D - TOUR 'D-DAY' The Original> VOD is a delight for fans

The viral video (pre-release) is part of the Agust D - TOUR 'D-DAY' The Original photobook set, which is scheduled to release globally on July 15, 2024. The set includes moments and pictures from the D-DAY world tour performance practices, rehearsal sketches, and various backstage stories from the North American tour.

There are two editions of the picture book and both include behind-the-scenes photos from "THE FINAL" concerts in Seoul and from Yoongi's solo 2023 world tour. Fans would get a transparent folding card with the lyrics of the song, D-Day, and a postcard set that allows them to revisit memories from each location.

The set also includes a photo card set consisting of 28 selfies of Suga from each performance. It includes Yoongi's practice sessions with his bandmates Jimin, Namjoon, and Jungkook of their duet performance.

During his last shows in Seoul from his world tour in 2023, Suga performed a duet with Jungkook on Burn It on August 4 and with Jimin on TONY MONTANA on August 5. He then wrapped up his tour by sharing the stage with Namjoon with a performance on STRANGE on August 6.
