On Saturday, November 9, 2024, South Korean media outlet TV Report reported that entertainer Park Myung-soo expressed his regret over declining to go for a late drink with BTS' Kim Seok-jin. The entertainer, known for the Disney+ show My Name is Gabriel, recounted the story on his show, Park Myung Soo's Radio Show, on KBS Cool FM.
Park Myung-soo recalled that he had once called the I'll Be There singer-songwriter that went unanswered. After three days, the BTS idol called Park Myung-soo back late at night and asked him to accompany him for drinks.
"I like Jin unilaterally. I like BTS' Jungkook, Jin, J-Hope, I like them all. I called (Jin) once because there was an outsider thing and such, but he didn't pick up. But three days later, I suddenly got a call at around 10.40 at night. He said, 'What are you doing, hyung? If you want, I can go out right now. We can have a drink.'"
However, Park Myung-soo declined the offer stating that he was about to go to sleep. The South Korean comedian and entertainer further added that Jin is "very human" and doesn't behave like a "real world star."
"So I said, 'I need to sleep now. ' At that moment, my body felt heavy and I didn't go out, but I really regret not going. I’ll go out even at dawn, so call me again this time. I’ll live. He doesn’t seem like a real world star, but a very human friend."
