On November 1, 2024, BigHit Music took to Weverse to update MOAs about TXT's Huening Kai's health condition and concert participation. The latest news left the fandom in an emotional state, as the agency informed them about the male artist's involvement in TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <ACT: PROMISE> ENCORE IN SEOUL.
The record label stated that Huening Kai experienced a sudden decline in health due to indigestion on November 1, 2024, during the first day of the concert. Consequently, he could not continue performing and took a break to focus on his recovery.
BigHit Music also acknowledged that the artist was determined to participate in future shows. However, they highlighted that his health would take priority, and his participation would be adjusted based on his condition. The agency asked for MOA's understanding and assured fans that they would do everything to support Huening Kai's recovery so he could meet them in good health.
Following this announcement, the idol's latest update on Huening Kai's health circulated on social media, prompting concern among fans. An X user tweeted:
"Hueningkai is the type to keep a straight face with any kind of discomfort. Him not participating means he's hurting a lot. Hueningkai please rest well and get well soon."
Fans stated that Huening Kai and the members of TXT should get proper time to rest.
"Now I don’t want to jump to conclusions or make accusations but Kai’s hands were literally shaking when he was holding his mic. Indigestion doesn’t do that. I’m not saying he has something super bad, but I am saying hybe is almost definitely downplaying his illness," a fan reacted.
"I really do hope that after this comeback and year end season, the members will have a proper rest. They’ve been working hard here and there. They deserve that proper vacation. Get well soon Hueningie," another fan shared.
"all this company does is find new ways to mess up and now it’s reflecting on the members. absolutely not, hueningkai we love you and will wait for you. take ur time, we don’t want to see concerts and performances if you’re sick in them," one person commented.
"Get well soon Kai you have done more than enough always showing us your bright and positive side Please take some rest Love you and always proud of you," an X user mentioned.
Additionally, many fans expressed their anger towards HYBE and how they have been treating the TXT member.
"It should be a happy day for all moa, but it's the opposite. Please..get well soon hueningkai, we know you're a strong kid. Thank you for doing your best today. Moa love you," an X user reacted.
"y'all gon look at this and still buy merch, buy them tickets, not gaf about these idols health, I don't just blame the company for overworking them I also blame y'all as Stans for pushing this culture that these idols feel they need to push themselves for y'all pleasure," a fan shared.
"i really hope he prioritizes his health, i’d rather have him skip the next two concerts and recover than forcing himself," an X user mentioned.
"Y’all gotta seriously start boycotting hybe cause all 5 of txt have been seriously ill or injured during this whole tour and streaming, buying albums, and trending tags aren’t helping anything," another X user commented.
