On Thursday, October 10, BTS' Jin started a livestream on Weverse. While the idol initially stated that the livestream was to celebrate his fellow member Jimin's upcoming birthday, he revealed a pleasant surprise to the viewers midway through the livestream.
He announced that Super Tuna 2, the extended version of his 2021 solo track, will be officially released in a few hours, on October 11 at 1 pm KST.
The idol also showed various clips from the upcoming official music video of Super Tuna 2 during the livestream, passing out spoilers to ARMYs.
Fans found the entire situation hilarious as the idol didn't seem bothered about the guidelines of his entertainment agency, BigHit Music.

On October 10, BTS' Jin kickstarted a livestream on Weverse to talk about the upcoming release of Super Tuna's extended version.
In light of the same, the idol shared a few thoughts on the same. He expressed that he was quite excited about the music video's release as he stated he had a fun time recording the same.
He, then, moved on to talk about the poster for the track. Jin stated that it was supposed to be a complete surprise but the poster accidentally came out through Apple Music.
"The poster came out on accident so people might have seen it.. I had something planned but.. anyway there might be light of people who might be seeing this for the first time right now!"
He then showed fans about the tuna fish he recently caught. He stated that he went fishing two days ago to wish luck for his upcoming Super Tuna 2 release.

He continued to show a picture of him holding the tuna fish he caught,

He ended the livestream by sharing that he re-recorded the whole song for its extended version. Since the original track was recorded four years ago, he felt that the entire song needed to be recorded again as his voice changed during the timeline. Before logging off Weverse, he asked fans to enjoy the song which is scheduled to release in a few hours.
