"He's just so precious" — Fans react as BTS' Jungkook gives autograph to fellow military soldier to thank him for experience

BTS’ Jungkook is said to have given his autograph to a soldier who was about to be discharged from the base. On August 9, the picture of Jungkook’s autograph to the soldier circulated on social media, creating a huge buzz among fans online.

According to the picture, the BTS maknae expressed his gratitude towards his fellow troop member for making the military life enjoyable for him.

He wrote,

“Hyung, thank you for making it fun, even if it was only for a little while!”

Fan online mentioned that Jungkook wrote in a way that appeared to be cute and addressed him as hyung as the soldier was older than him. They took to X to share their thoughts on the message and the autograph he gave to his fellow soldier.

BTS’ Jungkook began his military service journey on December 12, 2023, as one of the last members of the group to get enlisted at the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do province. The singer is serving in the military alongside his fellow group member Jimin through the buddy system.

The Buddy system allows friends or acquaintances to serve the conscription together and experience the South Korean Military life side by side for the 18-month tenure. Jungkook is to be discharged from his service and reunite with the K-pop boy group BTS in 2025.
