On January 3, 2025, the South Korean media outlet My Daily reported that TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT)'s Huening Kai donated over $33,985 (50 million won) to the victims of Jeju Air Flight 2216 plane crash. According to the publication, the male artist desired to assist individuals involved in the fatal aviation incident and said:
"I felt great regret and sadness at the sudden news of the accident. I decided to donate because I wanted to provide even a small amount of help to the bereaved families. I express my condolences and deepest comfort to everyone who is going through grief."
