BTS' Jungkook expresses love for ARMYs through gifts
Ever since BTS's Jungkook embarked on his solo career, he has consistently demonstrated his generosity towards his fans. He has been the most frequent member to hold Weverse live sessions to engage directly with fans and has also offered fans physical gifts on multiple occasions as tokens of appreciation for their support.
When his solo debut album GOLDEN was released in November 2023, Jungkook performed on major music shows in Korea, including SBS Inkigayo, Mnet M Countdown, and KBS Music Bank. As these performances came just a month before his official military enlistment on December 12, 2023, he made sure to thank his fans in the most heartfelt way by preparing special gifts for those who attended the recordings.
At Music Bank 2023, where he performed his track 3D, he gifted fans Calvin Klein hampers in collaboration with the brand. Each hamper contained one of four different hats, valued at approximately 65,000 KRW (around $48), and an exclusive photo card. The photo card came with a special message that read:
“Our ARMY, whom I want to see in 3D.”
Fans also enjoyed refreshments from a food truck, including drinks, bunny-shaped cupcakes, and macarons, all curated by Jungkook.
For those attending M Countdown, he gifted fans with a special limited-edition perfume inspired by his album GOLDEN. The perfume reportedly came with 24k gold flakes and had notes of tiger lily, suede, and amber. The perfume came with a note:
"Blooming splendidly in a resplendent display, just like the flower language that means ‘LOVE ME.’”
At the SBS Inkigayo pre-recording, fans received hampers filled with handmade treats, such as croissants, pretzels, purple meringue cookies, macaroons with Jungkook's handwriting, and strawberry lattes.
The 27-year-old is currently nominated in six categories for the 2024 MAMA Awards. Fans are now rallying behind him to secure wins, expressing their gratitude for his thoughtful gestures. These six categories are Album of the Year (GOLDEN), Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (Standing Next To You), Best Male Artist, Fan's Choice Male, Best Dance Performance Male Solo (Standing Next To You).
