On Wednesday, November 6, BTS' official social media platforms announced Taehyung's upcoming collaborative song with the late American singer and actor Bing Crosby, White Christmas. The song is scheduled to be released on December 6 at 2 PM KST. While fans were excited to hear about the collaboration, they were also imprssed by the song's cover image.

The cover image had the faces of Bing Crosby and Taehyun's pet dog, Yeontan, with a Christmas hat on their head. Since the idol chose to use a picture of his dog instead of his own, fans thought it was a sweet gesture. However, this wasn't the first time the idol featured Yeontan in his musical releases.
His solo debut album, Layover, was created as a tribute to his relationship with Yeontan, and much of the album's aspects, like the album cover, concept photos, music videos, merchandise, and more, had Yeontan's presence. BTS' Taehyung, his solo career, and other recent activities
BTS' V, or Kim Tae-hyung, is a 28-year-old singer-songwriter who debuted with his fellow group members in 2013. As the idol continued to roll out activities as a BTS member, he released several solo songs through the group's albums, such as Singularity, Inner Child, etc.
Apart from these releases, he also put forth independent songs on SoundCloud, such as Winter Bear, Snow Flower, etc. However, it wasn't until 2023 that the idol rolled out his official solo debut. In September 2023, he released an album called Layover, which involved RnB, pop, and jazz music genres.
However, in December of the same year, the idol enlisted in the military, and he's currently serving as a member of the Special Task Force of the Military Police Corps. Regardless, he rolled out one more single in March 2024, FRI(END)S, recorded before his enlistment. Following the same, the idol hasn't put forth any musical releases.
