On Sunday, January 12, 2025, BTS' Jin and j-hope released a video on the BANGTAN TV YouTube page laying out their 2025 New Year Plan via a presentation. BTS’ Jin and Hobi discussed the objectives they aspire to accomplish in the months to come. They explained their own slides utilizing a vibrant presentation loaded with their own images.

While j-hope was presenting his slides, Seokjin seemingly copied j-hope’s pose as he showed in one of slides and both idol’s laughed out loud. Fans also enjoyed how Seokjin mimicked j-hope's pose, and they flooded the internet with their reactions to this sequence of their 18-minute New Year Plan video. One user on X stated:

While some said Jin is Hobi’s biggest fan, others called him “funny."

BTS' Jin and j-hope gave a presentation for their 2025 New Year goals

In their New Year presentation, BTS' Jin articulated his plans for 2025: to dedicate himself to his work, maintain good health, live without regrets, remain connected with his fans, and show wisdom.

The Running Wild vocalist stated that he created RUN JIN to offer additional content to his followers. For those unaware, RUN JIN is Kim Seokjin’s variety show, where he invites new guests every week and carry out fun games and activities with them. The episode releases every Tuesday on BANGTAN TV’s YouTube channel.

Subsequently, Hobi outlined his plans for 2025 all through their presentation. His objectives encompassed enjoying his work, performing on stage for his fans, keeping good health, interacting with different people, seeking multiple fun collaborations, and connecting with ARMYs globally.

j-hope revealed how he closely recorded the days leading up to his military discharge and utilized his time in service to formulate future goals.

Jin and j-hope recently appeared together in the latest episode of RUN JIN. Seokjin kidnapped Hobi for an adventurous game.

Currently, BTS' Jin and j-hope are the only members of the group, who finished their mandatory military duties last year. While the former was discharged on June 12, the latter was released on October 17, 2024. The rest of BTS members, Jimin, SUGA, Jungkook, Kim Taehyung, and Namjoon, are expected to reunite in June this year. BTS’ comeback is likely one of the most anticipated event of 2025.
