On September 8, 2024, popular K-pop band Seventeen headlined the 2024 Lollapalooza music festival in Berlin, Germany. They were one of the headlining acts including OneRepublic, Sam Smith, Martin Garrix, Burna Boy, and The Chainsmokers, performing at the Main Stage South stage.

Meanwhile, Seventeen's Mingyu went viral online for his hilarious and endearing interaction with his fans off-stage. The LALALI rapper got down the stage and started talking with the fans and posing for pictures. His bandmate, S.Coups had to get down to bring Mingyu back onstage for the performance.

CARATs (Seventeen's official fandom name) hilariously reacted to the viral clips of Mingyu posing for the fans and interacting. One fan wrote on X,

"He's such a superstar I love him"

Before the K-pop star was humorously pulled on stage by his bandmate and leader, S.Coups, at the 2024 Lolapalooza, jokes about him nearly having a "mini fan meeting" dominated social media.

"Scoups really need to get down HIMSELF just to pick mingyu up otherwise he'll end up doing a mini fan meeting there lmao," one fan joked.
"Oh wow i need a moment to think about this. many moments actually," another fan wrote.
"He knows well that he is the spotlight," another fan added.

Others joked about the LALALI rapper's expression after a fan handed him a sunglass to wear and he refused it after seeing a different brand name on it. Fans joked about Mingyu's ability to remain composed despite the commotion and excitement, given his position as a Dior ambassador.

"In d midst of all these adrenaline rush he still able to think abt that..wahh Mingyu..very mindful indeed.." one fan noted.
"That’s one very well trained brand ambassador and i love it for him," another fan wrote.
"IM CACKLING AHAHAHA he wanted to keep getting that bag and i respect it," another fan joked.

Seventeen burn the stage up at the 2024 Berlin Lollapalooza Music Festival

Seventeen warmed up the crowd with an instrumental rendition of their popular song MAESTRO before starting their show at the 2024 Lollapalooza Music Festival in Berlin. MAESTRO is the title track from the band's latest comeback album, 17 IS RIGHT HERE, released on April 29, 2024.

Dressed in denim, the 13 band members made their way onto the stage to sing Super followed by Don Quixote as the crowd began to shout their names. They turned up the heat with performances on their tracks such as Darl+ing, Ready To Love, Rock With You, and Left And Right.

The band's sub-unit, BSS (consisting of DK, Hoshi, and Seungkwan) performed Fighting. Following this, the vocal unit (Woozi, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan, and Jeonghan) performed Cheers to Youth, another track from their album, 17 IS RIGHT HERE.

Meanwhile, the performance team, (The8, Jun, Hoshi, and Dino) performed Spell, and the hip-hop team (S.Coups, Vernon, Mingyu, and Wonwoo) performed FIRE. CARATs were overjoyed when they saw the entire band perform on Cheers —a track by the SVT Leaders unit (Woozi, Hoshi, and S.Coups).

Seventeen wrapped up after they performed Clap, SOS, HOT, Headliner, Together (English Ver.), God Of Music, and Aju Nice.

This was the last group performance by Seventeen's Jeonghan before enlisting in the military. Several members will serve their mandatory military service in the Republic of Korea Army before they make a group comeback probably in 2030.

According to Pledis Entertainment, Jeonghan will be unable to participate in the group's SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR, along with the promotions for their upcoming album, starting October 2024.
