Park Hyo-shin’s recent release is his first solo release in 5 years since his last song in 2019. He composed and wrote the lyrics for the song HERO, which was used as the OST for the newly released movie The Firefighters.

On November 30, Park Hyo-shin debuted on Global Spotify with his latest duet with BTS' Taehyung. The two collaborated on a track named Winter Ahead, released on November 29.
Following its premiere, the song accumulated over 5.5 million streams on Spotify Counter in just one day. Furthermore, V’s Winter Ahead established the record for the largest jazz debut in Spotify's history, amassing 4.2 million streams. The BTS member's song surpassed the prior record set by Icelandic-Chinese musician Laufey, whose track From the Start achieved over 1.1 million streams.
On December 12, BTS’ Taehyung made headlines as his song, Winter Ahead, was ranked No. 1 on Billboard's "27 Best Winter Songs for the Season" list.
In addition to the music video, BTS’ Taehyung also dropped a Cinematic Still Version of Winter Ahead, which starred both singers. Kim Taehyung and Park Hyo-shin were having a lavish meal in the video while singing their song.
