Jeon Somi released her Summer Special Single Ice Cream on August 2, 2024, at 1 pm KST. She also rolled out an accompanying music video for the song. Ahead of its launch, several teasers were also released, one of which was a poster of someone standing against a car.
The words on the image suggested a special appearance, with the caption for the post reading:
"Special Appearance : Guess Who?"
As the poster was limited to the person's legs in the frame, obscuring any further features, fans tried to guess the possible artist making a cameo for the song's video.
The speculations ran wild until the MV revealed it was none other than actor Park Seo-joon. Driving what seems like a vintage 1979 Mercury Monarch in a suave sharp suit, he displays a card in the frame saying 'Mr. Ice Cream', with the caption "Would you like one?" His charming cameo has been melting fans who were not expecting the K-drama star's appearance.

In the MV, he sits on the car's bonnet looking at an ice cream flyer, and turns to face the camera, singing along to "Ah yeah, Ah yeah!" During his limited special appearance, he stands next to Jeon Somi, both clutching the ice cream flyer and leaning against the car. Even when the end credits have rolled, the duo can be seen sharing a fun time on screen.
Reacting to the unforeseen appearance of the actor in Jeon Somi's MV, fans had much to say, with one hilariously calling him "unpredictable".
"The way we as Seojoon's fans never thought that it's gonna be him. We are just casually waiting for Friday to come to see him as head chef tonight and there's music video cameo from him today. He's so unpredictable."
