On November 2, 2024, G-Dragon's latest comeback single, POWER, earned the second-highest new entry on the Worldwide iTunes Song chart and the European iTunes Song chart, landing at #6 and #13 respectively. The song was released on October 31, 2024, under Galaxy Entertainment and EMPIRE.
According to the official account of the World Music Awards, the track made history as it ranked in the Top 5 in all real-time charts in Korea including Bugs, MelOn, Genie, Vibe, and Flo. As of November 3, 2024, the official music video has amassed over 14 million views on YouTube—within three days of its release. The same day, the BIGBANG member also dropped the performance video of POWER which has garnered 878K views within seven hours of its release.
Kwon Ji-yong, who is known as G-Dragon, debuted as a member of BIGBANG, in 2006, under YG Entertainment.
