“Her company is exploiting her” — Fans outraged over Zhao Lusi’s alleged 2024 schedule amid recent hospitalisation and abuse allegations

Zhao Lusi, renowned for her roles in Hidden Love and Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling, was rushed to a Shanghai hospital on December 18 after her health reportedly worsened during the production of her latest project, as reported by Dimsum Daily on December 29. Witnesses described the actress as weak and unsteady, with trembling legs as she was escorted by an assistant, who covered her with a scarf before entering the hospital.

The incident has sparked widespread concern among fans, with rumors circulating that Zhao may be struggling with severe depression or a neurological disorder. Insiders from the entertainment industry speculate that the intense pressures of her recent work schedule may have contributed to her condition.

Reports indicate that Zhao had been feeling unwell prior to the hospitalization, raising questions about the toll her commitments have taken on her mental and physical health. There have also been rumors of abuse by the company boss.
