On October 18, 2024, BTS' Jin was revealed to have the most popular Womenswear SS25 Instagram post by renowned French influencer marketing platform, Lefty. The platform released an SS25 Womenswear Roundup report, combining data from this year's Summer/Spring Fashion Weeks, which followed a "less is more" strategy transforming the global luxury market.

According to Lefty, this season's shift to focusing on innovation and forming key strategic partnerships by cutting down on the number of shows improved audience engagement, driving Earned Media Value (EMV) up to $840 million. The report credited influential figures and their popularity as contributing to the heightened results.

For the unversed, BTS' Jin was made Gucci's Global Brand Ambassador on August 7 this year. He made his first public appearance on September 20 at the SS25 women's show by Gucci's Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, after assuming this role.

Per Lefty's report, in collaboration with reputed brand-building agency Karla Otto, the K-pop phenomenon generated a staggering $7.9 million EMV representing Gucci, having the most popular Instagram post from the event.

Reacting to the news, ARMYs (BTS fans) dashed to social media to cheer for the Moon singer. One fan was in awe of his significance, writing,

"His impact."

A string of congratulations is presently incoming for Kim Seok-jin, aka BTS' Jin, on his achievement.

"Congratulations Jin! You really did that with just 1 instagram post," praised a fan.
"That's KIM SEOKJIN for y'all," another post said.
"The Jin-pact is insane. Congratulations Jin and @gucci!" wrote one netizen.

One fan voiced their surprise at how this result was achieved despite Jin not using any hashtags but just tagging the brand in the caption,

"not even a hashtag, just mentioned gucci," noted an ARMY.
"Jin impact, first appearance be most popular," another comment read.

Furthermore, on October 10, Sprinklr made SNS posts declaring BTS' eldest as the No. 1 most-mentioned celebrity in posts about the SS25 Milan Fashion Week, boasting over 9.79 million mentions. In the same post by the well-known customer experience management platform, Gucci was dubbed the most-mentioned designer, surpassing 6.34 million mentions.

BTS' Jin led to a 196% surge in Gucci's EMV at Milan Fashion Week as the brand's Global Ambassador

On September 27, a prior Lefty report ranked BTS' Jin third on 'The Top Influencers of Milan Fashion Week Womenswear SS25' list. Additionally, they also rolled out rankings for high-end fashion labels under their compilation of 'The Top Brands of Milan Fashion Week SS25.' On the latter, Gucci claimed the second position, noting a 196% EMV hike as compared to the season before.

According to Paris Match, as cited by STARNEWS' September 26 article, despite Jin attending his first fashion event at the MFW SS25, a considerable crowd of fans had gathered at Triennale Milano to greet him. Paris Match further claimed that Gucci made the right choice by choosing the 31-year-old idol as their ambassador, given his influence.

Jin's effect was even praised by journalist Alessandro Argentieri of Marie Claire Italia, as the latter went on to post a reel on his official Instagram handle showing Jin amidst a bevy of fans at the show's venue. He further called the Tonight singer "a really charismatic and charming person" in the caption.

Furthermore, Jin was all the rage not only internationally but also at home. He reportedly took over forums, search engines, and social networking sites all over South Korea, dominating sites like NATE, TheQoo, and more.

At the runway event for Gucci, Jin was further photographed and seen in conversations with notable figures like Sabato de Sarno, Yves Saint Laurent CEO Francesca Bellettini, actors Kirsten Dunst, Gulf Kanawut, and more. He sat in the front row and was photographed with Dakota Johnson and François-Henri Pinault, Chairman and CEO of Kering, Gucci's parent company.

In recent news, BTS' Jin has bagged multiple endorsements since his discharge. He was made Global Ambassador for the famous Korean premium skincare label Laneige on September 27.

This came after he became the first-ever Global Brand Ambassador of the distinguished luxury jewelry brand FRED on July 8. As of October 18, he was announced as the Global Brand Ambassador for Alo Yoga.

On the music front, Jin of BTS will launch his debut solo album Happy on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 2 pm KST/0 am ET, while the titular pre-release single will be out on October 25.
