BTS' Jungkook made a new record just at the beginning of the new year. Recently, the SEVEN singer surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify in 2025, and he achieved this record number in the first 16 days of the new year. It became Jungkook’s second fastest year to reach this mark despite no proper music releases since 2023.
With the latest mark, he also became the third K-pop soloist and fourth K-pop act to exceed the 100 million mark in 2025. BLACKPINK’s Rosé, BTS, and Jimin are the other three K-pop acts to achieve this mark in 2025 so far.
BTS' Jungkook’s fans were overjoyed with his latest achievement. Consequently, the idol’s fans flooded the internet with their praises for the singer. To express this, one user on X stated:
“Jungkook continues to break records! Hitting 100 million streams in 2025, just months after his last proper release in 2023, is insane! His power as an artist is unmatched, even without new music. His presence is enough to keep the charts soaring!”
While some said BTS' Jungkook’s power is “unmatched” even without new music, others claimed that the idol is “extremely talented.”
“It's insane CONGRATULATIONS JUNGKOOK #Jungkook the king. Only jungkook can beat his own records, he's on another level,” wrote another fan.
“Take that Big Hit…you could bury JKs succes and achievements and share all your fake news and achievements but JK will come out stronger and shine brightest because he’s truly that talented, extremely talented. Remember, this is JKs chart, not BTS,” commented a fan.
“This is what exactly means to be MAIN POP BOY,” wrote another fan.
Some called him “main pop boy,” others congratulated him for this mark.
“KING JUNGKOOK,” expressed a fan.
“Congratulations Jungkook. So proud of you,” another fan stated.
“It's the best, and it will be the best just let it begin,” commented an admirer.
