On January 14, 2025, Korean media outlet Star News reported that BTS' Jungkook’s single SEVEN showed off its Global Presence by receiving a Gold certification in Belgium. The idol achieved this milestone with the sale of over 20,000 copies of his single SEVEN. The youngest BTS member became one of the only two Korean singers to earn a Gold certification in Belgium, the other being PSY.
The media outlet further highlighted other certifications earned by Jungkook’s SEVEN in different countries, including the US, Canada, the UK, New Zealand, Japan, Portugal, Italy, France, Spain, and South Korea.
BTS' Jungkook’s fans were overjoyed by his solo track’s performance. As a result, his fans swamped the internet with their love and admiration for the idol. One user on X stated:

Many other reactions to SEVEN's success were seen online. While some said his talent was reaching more and more hearts, others called BTS's Jungkook a “history maker.”

Jeon Jungkook created his song SEVEN with American rapper Latto, which came out on July 14, 2023. Following this, the singer released his debut solo album GOLDEN, which featured two versions of SEVEN, Explicit and Clean. Both versions of his track have also earned certifications to their name. After enlisting in December 2023, Jungkook is currently undergoing his essential military service. He is likely to be released in June 2025 after finishing his service.
