The group’s New Year Greetings video was released via the social media pages of BPTG, aka BLACKPINK The Game. All four members of the girl group flaunted traditional Korean outfits, notably Hanbok, in the video.

On December 25, 2024, BLACKPINK's Jennie posted a Q&A video under her record label, Odd Atelier. During the interaction, the idol discussed how she is developing as a soloist, what she's been doing lately in her musical life, and more. During the same time, she alluded to her impending solo album debut.
BLACKPINK's Jennie pointed out that she worked extremely hard to develop the record and felt happy to offer it to her followers. She also mentioned that the album features two crossovers. Though she did not name the collaborators, she noted they are among her favorite musicians.
Earlier, on October 11, 2024, BLACKPINK’s Jennie dropped her solo track, Mantra. Her track was the pre-release song for her upcoming independent album. As of this writing, the track’s MV has fetched over 130 million views along with 3.4 million likes on YouTube.
