BTS’ Jin shared his plans to feature fellow group member J-Hope on his solo variety show Run Jin with a hilarious strategy. On September 21, Jin started a live-streaming session on Weverse, a few hours after his appearance at the Milan Fashion Week for luxury brand Gucci.
During the live video session, he shared his experience at the fashion extravaganza with receiving overwhelming love from the Italian ARMYs, solo music plans, and the future guest on his show, his bandmate J-Hope, who is currently serving in the military and expected to be discharged in October 2024.
Jin stated that he would like to kidnap J-Hope from the dischargement site and take him directly to the filming area of Run Jin.
He explained,
“I can kidnap Hope the moment he gets discharged and drag him to the filming site. Hope-ah, I don't know if you'll see this or not, but I started working at 12 o'clock after I got out.”
He then stated that J-Hope's thoughts on this plan were important but he would still like to kidnap him after his military service.
He said,
“I'm not forcing you, Hope-ah! And so, actually your thoughts on this aren't important because kidnapping you is my decision. But you might see this so I'm asking you... Is it okay to kidnap you? Yeah, I guess you can't answer me. I can do it, right? First of all, of course your thoughts on this are the most important but on my kidnapping you, you don't have a say.”
BTS’ Jin shares his worries about plans to feature J-Hope on Run Jin following his military service
BTS’ J-Hope was the second member of the K-pop boy group to enlist in the military after Jin in 2023. He will also become the second member to conclude his national duties and is expected to be discharged in October this year. The eldest member expressed his wish to feature J-Hope on Run Jin, a solo variety show airing on the official YouTube channel of the group.
The BTS vocalist explained that being the only member of the group active in the entertainment industry, he wished to make fans happy with fun content so he started Run Jin. He also revealed that it's the type of content the group makes themselves and so there would not be any appearance fees for J-Hope.
He further added that featuring J-Hope on Run Jin right after his military service sounded fun to him however, in the end, he was also worried that the ARSON singer may not like his kidnapping idea.
During his September 21, Weverse live streaming, the Moon singer said,
“I haven't asked you for your thoughts on this yet. No, I'm not going to ask you for your thoughts. That's right. I'm going to trust that you'll want to do it. But if Hope really does get mad that I kidnapped him, what will I do? I am a bit worried.”
In other news, BTS' Jin has previously featured his fellow label mate and TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Yeonjun, YouTuber Kwaktube, and MMA fighter Kim Dong-Hyun on the fourth and fifth episodes of his show. He also invited a South Korean actor and his close friend Lee Yi-kyung to episodes six and seven for a tennis battle. With the latest Weverse live session, the BTS member has increased the anticipation of J-Hope's appearance on Run Jin in the future.
